What size companies do you work with?
Pretty much the Fortune 500 variety, but may extend to others from time to time. We’ll surely recognize those special situations when we see them and be happy to respond accordingly.
Healthcare is one example where we have specialized skills and would look at helping out.
Will you sign our NDA?
Yes, of course. In a heartbeat.
How long is your typical engagement?
The minimum time we are looking at is 1 year. The reason for this is that we don’t view social media marketing as a campaign, but more so as a marathon. It takes time to run a marathon, especially while coaching others in the organization to perhaps run with it themselves in the future.
Are you hiring?
Always. Getting someone who is great at social media and marketing is painfully difficult. Getting one who is also great at security and isn’t looking to work for big security vendor is really rare. But they do exist. In most cases, we have to hire for one specialty and then build up the other skills. And that’s all fine, should we find the right candidate. So when that someone special comes along, we are eager to make room.
Do you offer retainer work?
We most definitely do. When we speak we can walk you through what all that means. For example, we do a fair amount of work up-front to ensure that we have all that we need to jump right in, should there be a major security breach to contend with.
Do you also do security consulting?
No, not really. Of course as we are having routine interactions with your security staff we are happy to provide our insights and ideas around the industry as called upon to do so, but we don’t present ourselves as security consulting. Been there. Done that. Literally have the t-shirts to prove it. But it’s not what ZecurityAscent is about. After all, it’s the marketing teams who bring us in, not the security teams.
